Smartsite has been delivering Enterprise level Content Management Systems for 10 years in the Benelux. The core business evolves around Smartsite Content Management Sever. Smartsite CMS is a top-class product by Seneca BV. The first version was released in 1997 and since then the system has been re-developed and improved. The latest version now on the market is Smartsite 5.2 and a new version, which goes by the name of iXperion, is currently under development.
The company has been a growing success through the combination of an extremely flexible product and a rich set of 'out-of-the-box' functionalities that enable extensive workflow and versioning controls, task management, versioning, personalisation, collaboration, MS office integration, classification, multi-language support, role based security management, web enabled forms, web 2.0 features and asset management.
